Thuyết minh của KTS
Cây sake xuất hiện trong không gian kiến trúc là dấu mốc thời gian 15 năm lập gia đình và xây dựng mái ấm của gia chủ. Đội ngũ KTS đã lấy vị trí gốc cây sake 15 năm tuổi làm điểm mốc để bắt đầu “cuộc chơi” thiết kế không gian nhà ống dài (4mx30m).
Có thể thấy 1 tiền sảnh chạy sải bắt đầu từ gốc cây kéo vào phòng khách, nơi được phủ trong bóng râm của cây để mở ra những khoảng thông tầng có chiều cao vượt trội ở phòng ăn, bếp hay phòng sinh hoạt chung.
Không gian của ngôi nhà được phân định bằng các cột cầu thang, lối di chuyển đan xen bằng 2 khoảng đệm là hiên chơi phía trước phòng ngủ (nằm trọn dưới tán cây Sake) và khoảng đệm sàn gỗ để chuyển tiếp lối giao thông từ lầu 1 lên lầu 2.
Tính xuyên suốt của ngôi nhà được đảm bảo bằng những khoảng thông tầng rộng mở, các khoảng lấy sáng gián tiếp ở giữa nhà, trước, sau và các khoảng lệch cột sàn.
Ngôi nhà có hướng chính Đông, phía sau trọn vẹn nắng chiều hướng Tây và giải pháp tạo một lớp vỏ hệ lam bằng những tấm bê tông mỏng xoay theo nhiều góc độ nhằm hạn chế nắng xuyên và không cản tầm nhìn.
Nhóm thiết kế mong muốn không gian ở của Sake House phá vỡ được sự nhàm chán trong không gian nhà ống điển hình. Điều đó càng được minh chứng khi đội ngũ thiết kế quay lại thăm ngôi nhà sau gần 1 năm sử dụng, nhất là sau thời điểm giãn cách xã hội do dịch Covid-19, khi mà mọi hoạt động từ làm việc, sinh hoạt của các thành viên đều diễn ra trong nhà.
Sự vận hành sáng tạo của chính người sử dụng trong ngôi nhà như khoảng đạp xe sân trước, khoảng uống café thư giãn trước phòng ngủ bố mẹ, khoảng không gian sáng tạo học tập vẽ tranh, chơi đàn của các bé hay gian bếp cùng khoảng vườn phía sau của cô giúp việc và bà ngoại… cũng tạo nên một không gian sống thú vị.
